The testing of suspected DUI offenders is performed in 5 locations countywide. Our first center was opened in December of 1987. Goals for the Central Processing Center are:
Reduction of and/or threat to life and property of Montgomery County residents by DUI subjects.
Court and police operational cost reduction.
Improved evidence in DUI cases.
Increased police patrol by reducing time required by arresting officer for processing of DUI subject.
Reduction of hearing and trial time by police officers and district attorney's staff.
